The news was confirmed by his son, Akwaboah Jnr, a talented musician, songwriter, and producer, who regarded his father as a major inspiration.
Kwadwo Akwaboah Senior, recognized for his exceptional guitar skills, collaborated with notable Ghanaian musicians, including the late C.K. Mann and Rex Owusu Marfo. He was a valued member of the esteemed Ghanaian Highlife ensemble, the Oheneba Ntim Barima Band.
